Meet Oreo
Oreo is a senior black and white female at the Animal Refuge Center. Often she is one of the first cats to greet the workers when they arrive in the morning and when the work day is over she is ready to follow them home. Oreo sees herself as a very independent cat and doesn't want to be picked up and she may never be a lap cat, but she is very sweet. Oreo used to be a feral and at times she shows her former street self, because she doesn't really like other cats. She doesn't fight with them, she just prefers they leave her alone. Oreo would love a home where she is the only cat, but she can deal with other cats. I'm not sure what it'd mean for her to get that much attention all the time, only that she'd love it!

Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
If you are interested in adoption, just fill out our handy Adoption Application right here at http://animalrefugecenter.org/adoption-application/
