Meet Kaiah ADOPTED!

Meet Kaiah!

Kaiah has had a rough couple of months.  He is a spunky 11 year old neutered Boston.  His family could no longer care for him.  He needed a dental and had two large growths taken off his rear leg.  Today, he is has fully recovered and is running circles around the yard.  He does have the beginnings of Cataracts.  He is up to date on his vaccines.

Kaiah loves to lie in the sun, sleep in in the mornings, play with other dogs and take long walks.  He does not act his age!  Kaiah is very affectionate and is house trained.  No children under 8 please.

Kaiah’s perfect family would be one that is patient, where someone can be home part of the day or comes home for lunch, is active and will include him in their daily activities, and take him for daily walks. His family would commit to taking him to an obedience class.  This will help with bonding and provide clear positive communication.

If you or your family can provide Kaiah with a healthy, safe, and loving home, please contact Vicki at vickalus@gmaile.com.

** GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ADOPTING **

Adoptions are NOT done on a first-come basis - rather we match each dog's temperament with that of a prospective new adopter as well as the adopter's pets /family situation to help insure more successful adoptions of rescue dogs. Home visit evaluations and reference checks will be required.

Seattle Purebred Dog Rescue (SPDR) is a non-profit 501C3 non-profit charity organization that is run completely on donations. Your donations provide funding for rescued dogs' medical expenses such as health checks, neuter/spay surgeries, worming, vaccinations, microchip, boarding fees and possibly training.
