Meet Rascal

Hi, my name is Rascal and I am up for adoption because my previous owner was no longer able to care for me. I am a 7 year old neutered male Dachshund in need of a quiet home without small children - like many Dachshunds, I am nervous around strangers. True to my breed I love the outdoors and going for lots of walks around the neighborhood. There are always a multitude of delightful smells to keep my hunting nose happy, and I am very polite on leash which is sure to keep you happy. I am shy with strangers, so living in the chaos of a shelter has been stressful for me, and I sure would love to be adopted very soon. My dream forever home would be a quiet household with older adults for me to bond with and love forever and ever. Keep in mind that I would require much less management than a puppy, and less strenuous exercise than many of the other dogs here. What I do need is sweet human companionship. I need a home. I need you!
