Meet Beau
CURRENTLY IN FOSTER IN SC!!!
Hello! My name is Beau and I am a standard size Dachshund mix, maybe mixed with Lab? My sister, Bella, and I were pulled from a kill shelter in S Carolina by my foster Mom. I am neutered and up to date on shots. I weigh about 35 pounds and am about 2 years old.
Now the fun stuff! I am all black and am a pretty laid back boy. I can be a bit dominant, especially to other male dogs. I would really love to find a home that would take Bella and I together but it is not absolutely necessary. The fact is though that she cries every day for Mom to let her come play in my big crate with me. I get an extra treat for putting up with Bella but I really do love her a lot. Besides playing with Bella my favorite thing is to be with my humans. I toss the tennis ball up in the air and jump and play as if to say, “Mom! Look at ME! See what I can DO?”
I am not fond of cats. I think I am supposed to bark at them until they go away. They don’t do what I say. They don’t go away. I might get used to them but not sure.
I would do well in a house with kids over 8 or a couple of grown humans who want to spoil me. I am good at riding in the car. I am also crate trained and house trained.
