Wall-E Doberman Pinscher Palo Alto, CA

This dog will be at adoptions on Saturday, August 31st from 1-4:30 & Sunday, September 1st, 11:30-4:30pm at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express or until adopted. If you are interested and would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application as we can only guarantee those who are set up to meet an adopter as attending for sure.

Wall-E is a 1 year old Doberman Pinscher who was originally turned into the shelter and then rescued by a family. Unfortunately they were unable to keep him due to family issues (non-dog related). He is the reason that Doberman lovers fall for this breed. He's initially reserved as he takes in every new situation. Within a day he is ready to lay down his life for the family. He is a velcro type of dog. He wants to follow his family around and he wants to hang out with them. Wall-E is a lover boy.

Wall-E is not an outdoor dog. He has anxiety if he is left alone outside. Rather he wants to be inside. He has beautiful house manners. He is not a high energy dog. He is active without being over the top. He would be an option to go on walks, go hiking, go to the beach or hang out with his family. He's very versatile. He will definitely be a deterrent to someone who wants to break into his house. He's not allowing that. His foster home is working with some of his guarding instincts which are heightened when he is in unfamiliar situations and when he is settled in his own home. 

Wall-E lives with an American Bulldog and loves her. He is an ideal dog to live with a well balanced dog. His foster mom is using their dog to help continue to socialize him and help him to feel most secure with others.
