Meet Snow White

To be considered as a potential adopter you must complete an application. NO EXCEPTIONS !! Email us for an application or information regarding our available Labradors!

Estimated Age:   6 months

Weight:   40 lbs -  Approx 50 lbs as an adult

Released to rescue by Good Samaritan.    She was found in a ditch in Lima Ohio.

Activity Level:  Low to Moderate

Snow is new to rescue - she is wonderful with other dogs & great with cats.   She is housebroken & also crate trained.     She is a loving & well mannered & social young pup.    She rides well in a car, is enjoying short walks & is learning some basic commands.    Snow will be available in late June for adoption.

Ohio Labrador Retriever Rescue Services assists in re-homing labrador retrievers & other retriever breeds from owners who longer care for them, or from shelter overcrowding.

All of our labradors are required to pass temperament testing (10 step testing) and will be evaluated in a foster home environment for a minimum of 1 week before being posted on petfinder.

Our dogs live in our homes & we will share any behavioral or health concerns with you prior to adoption. We want to supply you with the best family pet possible.

Our application fee is $25.00 non-refundable, & this will allow us to gain information on you & provide you with a dog that fits your family & lifestyle. Our adoption fee is $275.00 for Labradors & Golden Retrievers & this includes the following.

One thing that sets us apart from other rescues is that we don't compromise care to save money. Our pets receive the same care during surgery that any human would receive. (such as IV fluids, morphine for pain, oxygen, blood pressure monitoring). For puppies (under 6 months), a series of 3 distemper vaccines & dogs (over 6 months) a series of 2 distemper vaccines, bordatella for kennel cough, rabies, (for dogs 16 weeks & older) heartworm testing & treatment (if required), monthly heartworm & flea preventative, fecal examination & treatment (if required), pre-surgerical bloodwork to examine liver and kidney function & glucose readings, spay or neuter, (post surgical pain management), hip & pelvic examination (check for hip dysplasia), microchip, leash and collar are offered with each adoption.

All adoptions come with a 15 day money back return adoption fee policy. It may take between 2 to 4 weeks for your new dog to adjust in your home, so please be patient with your new family member.

Why adopt an adult dog? Because most are housebroken, crate trained, starting basic obedience training & adapt quickly to a new routine, plus we no longer chew on everything. Adult labs move into a new home so easily & quickly learn your routine. Give a rescued Lab a second chance for happiness. Don't breed or buy, save a Lab, rescue a Lab.
