Meet Footsie

FOOTSIE - Collie mix, female, 8 years, ~50 lbs. Footsie is an approximately 8 year-old gentle beauty who was found as a stray in NYC. She was lucky to have been taken in by Peppertree, as she became quite ill with pneumonia shortly after her arrival. With lots of TLC she has recovered and is enjoying life in her foster home. She gets along fine with the resident Cocker Spaniel and enjoys following him around. Though she appears to have some hearing loss she responds to hand signs and is always ready for a pet or walk. Footsie is sweet, friendly, and has great “house manners.” She is nervous meeting new dogs out in public, but her foster mom is helping her to become a little more comfortable with that. Footsie is a quiet loving companion who will brighten anyone’s life!
