Hi, my name is Lauren! I am a 8 year old Puppy Mill survivor. The first 7 years of my life were spent in a neglectful home. I spent quite a few months here at the shelter and found a family to adopt me. It didn't work out so well though and now I'm looking for another Chance. I am happy and affectionate with those that know me. With strangers, I am shy and reserved. I have some anxiety when left home alone, so please consider crating me when you leave. Turn my crate into a positive and I could be quite content to nap away some time. I'm a sweet and special girl. I own a spot in many hearts around here. Provide me with a comfortable home and you'll be my whole world.

My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies, spayed/neutered and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. If a puppy is too young, the adoptive person is responsible for the cost of spaying/neutering by the date designated in our adoption contract.
