Meet Tank

Hi, my name is Tank. I am a black and white, short haired domestic kitty, who is 1 year old. Like most cats rescued from the shelter I have a sad story turned happy. My original dad was a Marine and
adopted my brother and I when we were young. Our first year with him was happy, but one day we got the news that he would soon be deployed.
With dad leaving the country we were placed with our grandpa, but soon after we received more bad news. Our grandpa had to go into assisted living and with no where else to go we were taken to the shelter. Not too long after being placed into the shelter our foster mom found us. Being a military wife, she simply could not leave us behind. So she
searched and searched for help until she found JCAPL. We now live with our foster mom and foster siblings, until our forever homes can be
found.

My foster mom said I spent about a month in the shelter from the time I was left to the time she found JCAPL. While at the shelter my brother and I were placed in separate cages. When we got to our foster home we were really stressed and my brother and I did not remember each other. My foster mom says I grumbled and rumbled for almost a week until I got use to my brother again. Because my grumbling my foster mom named me Tank. She says I am the large and in charge brother. My favorite things include belly rubs and cuddles, sleeping in my foster mom's bed (under the covers, if you please), and playing with my feather wand.

My foster mom also said that I have been known to get so rowdy during play time that I run laps and that I have a tendency for putting both of my feet in my water dish before I drink.  She calls me her "water quality tester."

My vet says I am very well mannered and has given me a clean bill of health.

My dislikes include: big rambunctious dogs. Like my brother, I am learning to tolerate small calm dogs, but large dogs are a no, no. I have never met small children so my foster mom does not know how I would react.

Overall I am a love bug in need of endless cuddles. My goal is to find my fur-ever home. My brother's name is Ranger and he is also available
for adoption through JCAPL.
