Destiny is a very pretty and affectionate girl. Sometimes she flinches a little when I start to pet her, but then she warms up pretty quickly. It makes me think she wasn't treated well in the past. I haven't seen one bit of aggressive behavior from her. She and Boomer get along great. He really likes her. She also does great with Charlie and Buster, my small dogs who spend a lot of time in the back yard. I put a leash on her, and she did fine. She's fine with my cat tester, Punkin. He goes out and lays down in the sun with the dogs and all Destiny does is sniff him and walk away. She's a sweetie!

Bio: Destiny was picked up as a stray on 3-21. Spayed, HW negative, and had a dental. She stands about 20" high and weighed 54 pounds the last vet visit. She is a big, long legged girl. She would like to play I think but my floors are slick and she can't get much footing. She enjoys the couch. She's house trained now. Hope she can get a good forever home!

Adoption area: We adopt to northeastern states, OH, and western KY.
Dogs in the Rowan County K-9 Shelter receive their first dhlpp vaccination (parvo/distemper) upon arrival at the pound. Rabies vaccine and spay/neuter surgery are done for the $50 adoption fee. Please note rabies vaccine and surgeries are NOT done on site and dogs must be adopted before they receive rabies vaccine or surgery. We currently do not have the ability to cat test the pound dogs.
