Adopted 4/27/13!!!

Hunter

Hunter is a 6 year old pure bred Golden boy who is just stunning. He lived with his former family since he was a puppy but life got very busy for this family when two young children came along. He was relegated to being an “outside dog” for most of the day and didn’t get much attention. With their focus on the children, Hunter was not given the care he needed and thus, he wound up becoming infected with heartworms. He is currently undergoing the slow kill treatment to rid his sweet body of these dastardly parasites.

Hunter loves the water, playing fetch, and is a very, very playful dog. Just watch him play in this video!
