Tonka Pit Bull Terrier Mix Eagle, ID

If you have been looking for a tall, dark and handsome guy, look no further than Tonka! He has a smile that's worth a million bucks and would love to be your athletic partner--he doesn't even care what sport! Tonka is a 5-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier/ mix that came to us as a stray. Because Tonka is a big boy and weighs 90 pounds, he may treat toddlers like bowling pins to be knocked down during play sessions, so a home without small children would be best. Tonka loves toys and can play non-stop fetch for as long as your arm doesn’t give out. Tonka knows “sit”, “down” and “shake” and would be a great candidate for further training. Tonka has been at the shelter since the beginning of December, so if he can’t find a forever home, a loving foster home would be a great change of scenery for this friendly guy.   If you are interested in meeting Tonka, please head down to the Canyon County Animal Shelter @5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell.
