My name is Harley and I am a 6 year old black lab. I have been in Foster care for about a year and I long for my own home. I am a stocky guy and weigh about 65lbs. I am trustworthy alone in the house all day, but if you prefer a crate that’s fine with me too. I’m an easy going guy that gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. I have a moderate energy level and love to chase a ball. I don’t care if you throw the ball indoors or out, I just love to chase it and have fun being with you. I walk great on a gentle leader and I am awesome in the car! I am a hunting dog so I should not be around pet birds, rabbits, or guinea pigs as they are way too much temptation for me. After all…nobody’s perfect. Let’s talk about my meals. I have to have a grain free dog food and I get a powder on my food twice a day. I also need 2 pills every morning for me to be able to maintain my weight. Please don’t let that scare you off…I am very stable on my diet and have not had any problems in 8 months. Now that we found what works, I’m perfectly healthy! My foster mom says that I am the best dog she has ever fostered…and she has had a lot…lol. My food, powder and medicine cost about $75.00 per month. If that’s not too much for you and you would like to share your life (and couch) with a fun, snuggly, well behaved gentleman then please schedule a date to meet me.
The adoption fee for a this pet is $150.00. This fee includes vaccinations appropriate to the animal's age, spay/neuter, and any other veterinary services required. Animals are also microchipped.

Adoption Events are held at: HSJC Pet Center 3827 Graham Road Franklin, IN 46131 Thursdays, 5-7 pm.; Saturdays, 11am-1pm PLEASE CHECK WITH US TO CONFIRM HARLEY'S ATTENDANCE AT AN ADOPTION EVENT
