Stone Pit Bull Terrier Binghamton, NY

Stone has been with me for about 2 -2/12 months now. He is the perfect dog! His paperwork says that he is around 3 yrs of age, but I am thinking he maybe a little bit older. His energy level is great. He will go out in the yard and play fetch, but then will come back in and lay on the couch with you. He is great in the house, loves his crate. He sleeps in my daughters room at night and is only crated when I am not home. He gets a long wonderfully with the other dogs, both dominant female and a submissive male. He was a little scared of my rottweiler at first, but only because she is huge compared to him and she is dominant, but wihtin 2 minutes they were fine. He is great with the cats too. I really can't say enough great things about him. His only issue is he obviously was abused before he came to PMAR. If you move too quickly he cowers, like he thinks your going to hit him. He is scared of some people when he first meets them and needs a proper introduction. We are working on socializing out in public with new people, so with some work he will really be the perfect dog. He needs a low key home because of his fear. Not a lot of people in and out.

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption a home inspection will be conducted. Adoption fee applies.
