Chelsea German Shepherd Dog Palo Alto, CA

This dog will go to adoptions on Saturday, Feb. 2nd at Campbell Pet Food Express from 12:30-4pm on or until adopted. If you would like to meet this dog then please fill out an application so we will bring this dog to adoptions.

Chelsea is a 10 month old GSD who was rescued from the shelter and weighs about 65lbs. It was obvious she had recently had puppies but then was turned into the shelter. She was listed as a stray so her background is unknown. Most likely she had her puppies, the owners kept them and then didn't care about her. She is a long haired GSD but has recently been cut down most likely when she had puppies. Chelsea has left her Mommy days behind her and now is ready to be someone's beloved. She is a fabulous dog. She has a wonderful personality. She gets along well with other dogs. She plays with big and small dogs. She is gangly and untrained but more than willing to do whatever her foster Mom or Dad wants if they have treats!

Chelsea could easily be a great option for hiking, biking, going to the beach, dog park or just hanging out with her family. She loves people. She sometimes loves them a bit too much and wants to jump all over them. Another reason she will need that home that is willing to invest the time and energy into training. She has a wonderful personality which makes her an option for kids but they will need to be 'knock over proof'. She has no idea how big she is and she easily will knock over people. She just gets excited and wants to 'hug' everyone.
