Meet Vladimir

Vladimir is a sweet 2 year old; who is about 55 lbs. He has one blue eye and one brown eye, but a little blue and brown in both. Vladimir is looking for a loving home, with a nice backyard to play in. He must have a fenced in yard, he was previously a stray. He dislikes being in a kennel, and has escaped a steel kennel cage. He is very protective of his raw-hides and toys around other dogs, but will let humans grab them from him without a fuss. He loves being close to humans, and does not mind his face, paws, head, back, or ears being touched. He is a very gentle dog he loves to give kisses. He is also housebroken. He has had separation anxiety and has been surrendered due to the previous owner not being able to handle in training him on this issue. He will need someone who has previously owned or owns a dog, and is confident in training and dealing with his separation anxiety. He may do best with a family where at least one person is home a lot and only gone for short periods of time. He wouldn’t even mind going along when running errands; he does not cry at all on car rides, he loves to just sit and look out the window. He likes to talk but is not a barker or howler; it’s just the way he communicates. He has been absolutely fine with children, suggested age is about 4yrs and up, and has been curious about cats but doesn’t mind them being around. Could you make him yours?

Policies: You do not have to have a fence to adopt a dog from us, but some dogs will require a fence or acres to play. Also, Since preschoolers are more likely to be bit, we do not place dogs in homes where children under the age of 4 are present.

The Adoption Fee is not enough to cover the vet bills. Sales tax of almost 7% is also included in the adoption fee that you see. Please consider donating to Last Hope to help us save these animals!

Can you foster? By taking a dog or puppies into your home temporarily and then coming to our adoption days to help find them homes, we can save more! If interested, please email jsamaste@msn.com and tell us your phone number and what you would like to foster and someone will get back to you! Check our webpage and click the picture of the border collie on the side to learn more about fostering too!

Can you help? Last Hope, a 501c non-profit rescue, has saved over 38,000 animals since 1985. Find out more here.
