Trixie Beagle & Pug Mix Benicia, CA

Back in November a momma beagle mix female dog was found wondering a parking lot alone and pregnant. Solano County Friends of Animals rescued her and have been fostering and caring for her and her babies ever since. Dad's bread is unknown but may be pug do to accents and chunkingness of puppies. The puppies were born December 6th.  Mom weighs 9lbs after delivery.  The babies are quite large for a dog her size so the estimate is that the puppies will be between 10-20 lbs at the largest.


They will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated and reading for adoption starting the week of January 27th. Trixie was the only female of mom's four pups and she was also the largest born.  Mom and puppies live in a cat, dog, young child friendly home. They are being crate trained and potty pad trained during their foster care.


Solano County Friends of Animals is an all-volunteer rescue group dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted pets in Solano County through spay and neuter. All adoption fees and donations go directly to helping the animals. Adoption fee is $150.00
