Meet Willow

Well, 2013 started out way better than I expected.  You see, I'm not sure how to explain this to you, but 2012 ended on a rather odd note.  Somehow, I found myself lost and living in this farmer's barn.  He thought a raccoon had moved in so set up a little cage, and put some food inside, and since I was so hungry, I tiptoed in, and guess what-- he found out it was just a little Chihuahua girl.  Just little old me-- only I'm not sure how old I am.  Old enough that at some point I had babies.  Now, I'm not interested in babies.  As a matter of fact, I really am enjoying a warm bed and quiet house.  There are other Chihuahuas here, and we have an agreement:  I don't bother them and they leave me alone.  Actually, I kind of like being off by myself.  I think I'd even be okay being an only dog.  I mean, everyone is really nice to me and I sometimes curl up and sleep by one of them, but I've been on my own for a while, and I'm kind of an independent lady.  And I am a lady, thank you.  I'm not snippy and I am trying really hard to understand about these puppy pads and going outside on a leash, because I don't want to be trouble.
My Chihuahua mama calls me shy.  It's not so much that I am shy... it's just that I am really reserved and a little nervous about being in a new place.  I love cuddling up with her and she said she named me Willow because I'm tall and have long legs, like a model.  She also said I'm underweight, but I have a good appetite and she gives me cute treats like baby carrots and apple slices.  Humans are funny creatures, aren't they?  Chi mama took me to visit the veterinarian.   That was definitely not fun.  But I was told I'm in good health, heart worm negative, and I weigh 6 lbs.  I have to go back one more time for a little nip/tuck so I won't need to worry about more babies.  Anyway, even though I'm fine in a place much nicer than a barn, I'd like a place to settle down and not have to worry about getting lost ever again.  So, if you are looking for a chihuahua that likes peace & quiet, and if you like that too, we could be a perfect match.  PS:  Instead of carrots, send my mother some peanut butter treats!
