Fun, energetic, lovable, lapdog are all words that can be used to describe Rachel Davino. Wait, lapdog? Well, yes - Rachel loves to crawl into your lap and give kisses. This beautiful girl gets along great with people and other dogs. Rachel Davino is very sweet and has won the hearts of everyone she's met.

Rachel is doing well learning her commands. However, she still needs to practice her leash walking and learn to give proper greetings to other dogs. If you are looking for a running partner, this is your girl!

Can you give her a loving home? She will repay your love with wiggle welcomes, snugglebug cuddles, and absolute devotion. Please apply to foster or adopt Rachel Davino today.

Rachel Davino (named for one of the victims of the Newtown, CT shooting) was rescued from South Carolina through the 26 Acts Of Kindness sponsored by Little Rascals Doggie Day Care and Boarding.

The adoption fee for this dog is $275, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter. Our adult animal fees range and are based on: fees we pay to shetlers; vetting costs; transport costs and boarding costs. Some animals cost more than others to rescue so that is why our fees range from $275-$350.

Be sure to ask us about getting a free 30-minute phone consult with a professional dog trainer within the first 30 days of adopting - just for HT adopters. Start your new dog out on the right foot with this valuable, expert advice and guidance FREE!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering.

Thank you for contacting Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and helping to save a life!
