Sassy Domestic Long Hair & Tabby Mix Pierceton, IN

Poor Sassy!  She is so embarrassed!  She is a pretty girl whose thick fur was so matted when she came to us, that she had to be SHAVED!  The buff color in her picture is her undercoat - when her fur grows in, it should be a deep rich red/orange, like the fur on her head.  Sassy is an ~5-years-old longhaired orange tabby and white female cat.  She will be a beautiful cat when her fur grows out again, but her new owner should be prepared to groom her daily to avoid hair mats which can be painful and unhealthy.  Grooming time can be a wonderful time to bond with your cat, but if you don't have time or inclination to do it daily, you should get a shorthaired cat, and we have many wonderful ones to choose from!

 

The procedure for adopting one of our animals is as follows:

 Please come in and let us help you select the pet most appropriate for you and your family.  Most of our animals are now "temperament tested" by our trainer and we can help you find the pet that will fit your family.

Once your new pet is selected, we ask you to sign an adoption contract that spells out our obligations to you and  your obligations to us and your new pet.  Once your contract is read and signed by you, you will receive an adoption package that contains many gifts for you and your new animal including free 30 day pre-paid pet insurance, starter food, training and health DVDs. etc...

We try to make the adoption process simple and enjoyable for you and your new pet.  Please come in for a visit and give us a try!  

NEW ADOPTION FEES:    $135 for puppies under 9 months,  $125 for dogs,  $85 for kittens under 9 months and $65 for cats.  Some pets are considered "Legacy" pets.  The fee for these pets will be slightly higher than normal because of special considerations or high demand for this pet.

Fees include:  spay/neuter, free 1st vet visit to vet listed, free training DVD, starter food, free 30 days of pre-paid pet insurance, free microchip (except on felines), information packet, coupons and much more.

 

We offer military discounts with military ID card of $10 per pet.

We offer senior citizen discounts on senior dogs.
