Meet Mia Mini-Cat

We conduct our adoptions via a foster-to-adopt process. We try to adopt our rescues within close radius to us so we can be there if the adopter needs us for any reason.

Mia is an unusual black Siamese, mini-kitty. She will stay very petite, and has a "pinched" feature appearance.

Mia is a highly social and vocal and confident feline with an active intellect. She does not like to be alone. She is unusually petite, while her build is muscular. Coat is a healthy, shiny, beautiful black velvet.

Healthy, happy, playful. Hand-raised underfoot in home-setting with parent on-site. Never caged!

Note: Some shelters put a moratorium on their black cat adoption during the month of October: Little Lion also participates in the October moratorium.

We do not adopt out of state--no exceptions--as this is in the best interests of the cat. Adoption will require a check-points and a home check for her protection.
When you email inquire, you will receive a preliminary Cat Adoption Questionnaire.

We do not recommend the adoption of kittens to homes with young children. In general, kittens should be 6 months old before being placed in homes where there are children. Health and humane authorities agree that a young child usually cannot be expected to handle a kitten properly. Mishandling can result in an injury to the child, the animal, or both.

Note: we are not selling our rescue cats: nevertheless, there is an adoption fee: the funds are used to support all of our rescue pets. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption, as each cat or kitten is vetted prior to adoption. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter (upon adoption), feline leukemia/FIV testing, distemper vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchipping, deworming, flea-free, grooming, and temperament testing.

We reserve the right to deny any application, for any reason, without disclosure. A refusal does not represent any shortcoming of the applicant, but reflects our assessment that a particular pet would possibly not do well in the circumstances offered.

Existing cats within the home must be tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, must be up to date on vaccines, and must be spayed or neutered.

Let us know why you are the perfect family for Mia.
