Meet Daphne

Daphne is a young 3-month-old female with a shy but fun personality who joined the shelter family on November 8th, 2012; she is a solid black kitty with yellow eyes. Daphne is a polydactyl, which means she has more than 5 toes on her paws, in her case her front ones, and thus she cannot be declawed. She is a shy but playful kitten who enjoys exploring, even though she is nervous. She enjoys having a companion because it makes her feel braver, and because she absolutely loves to stalk and chase! Daphne is a bit mischievous, as most kittens are, and gets along great with her fellow kennel kitten. She is very wary however, so one has to take care, and approach her slowly; you have to win Daphne’s trust. Once you do, she doesn’t mind being held and playing with you. If you are looking for a feline to add as part of your household for the first time, or as an addition, Daphne is a great choice!
