Meet Coco
ADOPTED NOVEMBER 2013
Coco was found on 10/22/12 and never was claimed. She is a sweet young girl, about 1-1/2 year old, 18 inches in shoulder height and weighing 53 pounds. She's a happy girl and appears to get along with everyone. What surprised us all a few weeks later was that Coco was pregnant.
UPDATE: Coco had her litter right before Christmas, luckily in a safe home environment. She is now back at the Shelter. Her pups have all been adopted and now it's Coco's turn!
Please speak to Laurie Hollywood, Director of the Shelter if you are interested in adopting Coco.
The Shelter is open 7 days a week from 8 am to 4 pm, and late on Wednesday evenings (for OPIN's free dog training at 6:30 pm -- no appointment necessary!). OPIN has supported the Stamford Animal Shelter since 2007 and is fundraising for a better-than-ever new City Shelter, matching the City's funds. Donations may be made online and marked for the "New Shelter." Visit us at: www.opinpets.org or email us at: outreach@opinpets.org.
