Gambler-Adopted! Boston Terrier Omaha, NE

Meet Gambler (or Willi, as he is affectionately called by his foster family. Willi had a rough start as he spent the first six years of his life confined to a small cage in a puppy mill. NBTR got him at auction. Upon arrival in rescue, Willi tested positive for heartworm-a disease affecting the heart which is costly to treat and fatal if left untreated. Willi has undergone all treatment and has just tested negative. He now has a clean bill of health.

Unfortunately, the years of being locked in a cage have left Willi a bit scared of everything. He chooses to view life in his foster home from afar. He loves the other dogs in his home and they are the only ones he really loves to be with. At night he will snuggle up with his foster mom, but it is the only time he really seems to come out of his shell. Willi just wants to exist and be invisible. He does not seek out human attention, but he is content to sit and watch the goings on of the household. He is a sweet dog.

Willi is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and is microchipped. He is still working on potty training.

NBTR requires a FENCED IN YARD for all adopting families.
