Meet Brenna

Brenna is a beautiful English Setter.  She's 1-1/2 years old and weighs 36 pounds. She has lovely white and black coloring on her coat.  She has fluffy fur on her ears and an absolutely adorable face!

Brenna was rescued from a local pound facility where she was very sick.  She is now in the safe hands of the ARP and she's a healthy girl!  Brenna can be a little bashful when first meeting new people but if you show a little patience and a whole lot of love, she'll warm up and her loving personality will shine though. Brenna gets along well with other dogs and she does the "Brenna crawl" where she drops and spreads out on all fours, you'll just have to see it in person!.  She is housebroken and kennel trained.   She would love to find a home what will provide her with plenty of exercise/playtime.   If Brenna sounds like a good match for you, please ask about her today!

****Her adoption fee is $295.****

The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues—and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed.

All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws.

Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $25 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.

The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
