Snickers is a male Shih Tzu about 3 years old and 9.5 pounds. This cutie is completely house trained and very motivated to learn. A patient adult family would be perfect! I LOVE: My foster parents, going for walks on a leash, riding in the car, and sitting on a lap (when invited). I'm also friendly with other dogs. I THINK: I welcome strangers but am a bit fearful of them touching me. My foster parents are working with me on this but I need some more training (remember, I'm a motivated student). MY MATCH: Someone patient and experienced. My forever home must commit to a minimum of 2 positive training sessions and keep working with me to lose my fear of strangers. NOPE: I'm not a good match for a home with children because of my fear of strangers. MY HISTORY: I was neglected in my first year. You'll hear all about me in a telephone interview. ADOPTION FEE: The fee will actually be applied towards paying the positive dog trainer.
