Sissy - F - 2 1/2 years old - Border Collie MixMost of you remember Sissy from the Louisiana rescue Rover did not too long ago. She is the mother to the 7 pups left in a chicken coop. As you can see, her neck has fully healed and she is looking gorgeous again. She shows us everyday how grateful she is that she has been given a second chance in life. Sissy gets along well with some dogs and not with others. She's eager to learn and very smart. She's a very special girl and she deserves a family to show her how great a dog's life can really be. She's going to thank you daily for the new life she's been given with unconditional love. Help us send Sissy home!


 


 


Dog adoptions are $75 for dogs that are NOT spayed /neutered and $100 for those that are spayed/neutered. If the dog is NOT yet spayed/neutered, we require you to have it done within 60 days of adoption or by the time the dog is 6 months of age. We try to spay/neuter as many as possible before they leave our facility. All adoptions are to approved homes only. You can fill out an application to adopt in person or on our website www.startoverrover.org. Because of the high volume of applications coming in, please be patient with adoption approval.
