Bentlee Yorkshire Terrier & Schnauzer Mix Murray, KY

 

BENTLEE is a cute little 11 month old Schnorkie (Schnauzer/Yorkie) who is looking for a new home!  He is a precious and spunky little fellow who loves to play. He would do best in a home without small children and with another dog so he can play and expend some of his puppy energy!

BENTLEE's adoption donation is $175 which includes his neuter, up to date vaccinations, deworming, heart worm prevention, flea and tick prevention, grooming, and microchip.  If you would like to give BENTLEE the forever home he deserves, please give us a shout!

Dog Adoption Guidelines:

 



You must fill out an application to be considered for adoption. You can fill out an application at www.forthepets.org/adoption.htm or email to humanesociety@murray-ky.net for an application.


It is not a "first come" process; we try to "match" the dog with the family for a FOREVER home. We process all applications at once and take the dog off the site, place on adoption pending status until a decision is made. If a suitable home is not found, the dog returns to active status.


The dog adoption process can take about two weeks; we are a small group of volunteers who have full time jobs.


We do not fly or ship our dogs due to heat/cold concerns and safety issues. If you are willing to fly out AND fly the dog back in the cabin (size restrictions) with you, that would be considered.


If you apply to adopt a dog and are chosen, you must come to Murray, KY to pick up the dog and fill out the paperwork in person.


We do adopt out-of-state, but we do not transport.


We can't provide individual "meet and greet" sessions for each applicant. If chosen to adopt, you will have time to visit with the dog before signing any paperwork and will not be committed to adopt if you choose not to at that time.
