Hello Everyone!  I am Ellie!


I am a small Corgi girl (about 22 lbs) who is looking for my forever home.  My owner left me behind when he moved out, so a sweet lady took care of me and gave me to this rescue group.


I am only 3 years old, 100% house trained and crate trained.  I am a Corgi girl, so I do tend to be bossy.  I like other dogs, but I need to be the one in charge (and I don't care how big they are).


I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE people, but I've never been around small children.  I might try to boss them around too. Give me the slightest chance and I will hop into your lap.  I promise to never be too far away from you and if you call me I will dart right back to you.  Being loved on is my most favorite activity.


I never had a fenced yard before and I have one at my foster home.  I just LOVE to run!  I won't run away, I just need to work out the kinks every now and then.


I find the cats here interesting.  Sometimes I chase them, sometimes I ignore them.  I do like to steal their food and if they run, I WILL chase.


I must tell you that I have had some trouble with urinary tract infections, but it is being managed by medication and special dry dog food.
