Mika - Private Adoption Himalayan & Tuxedo Mix Wadsworth, OH

This is a private adoption that SOS posts as a courtesy. All follow ups need to be directed to the indicated party listed below description. Animals seem to know to come to us if they need help, but we must find new homes for some of our rescues. They are all fixed but we are overrun with animals and can no longer afford to keep them. In these hard economic times we will only be able to afford food for our own 2 pets and a few strays the neighborhood cares for. We saved Squirrel and Mika but they now need their own homes. Can they find a place in yours? Mika is a long haired Himalayan Mix and is about 5 years old. She is spayed, and she has had her shots but she is due for them. She is a mitten paw, tuxedo and is a large fluffy cat. Mika was rescued from an abusing, alcoholic, home as a kitten and she is very timid. She is sweet and loving also, but she takes a little time to warm up. She is VERY afraid of storms and loud noises like lawn mowers. She tolerates the other cats but the dog is her arch-enemy. Although she tolerates the dog, she goes after her any chance she gets. She would do better in a home where it is relatively quiet and calm. She would also probably make an excellent companion for an older adult, as she loves to lay by you sometimes and be petted all day. One of her favorite things to do is sit at my feet while I clip coupons and play with the paper strips from the coupon pages while I cut them, so if you get out a pair of scissors watch out! Haha!
