Dallas-PENDING ADOPTION Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Manhattan, KS

Dallas is a 5-6 month old blue heeler. He is a sweet and cuddly puppy who is looking for a forever home. He loves to play with other dogs, but is well behaved in the house when there is no one to play with as well. He is learning commands, but will still need to go to puppy class when he gets to his new family. He is crate- and house-trained, and smart enough to learn new commands quickly. He is a puppy, so we are working on patience and not playing too rough, but he is making good progress.


Dallas came to RCHS after an injury at another shelter. He is currently healing, but still limping from an injury to a back leg. The vet says that there shouldn't be any permanent damage, but it may take some time for him to get back to normal on that leg. He would love a home where he gets frequent cuddles from his owner, and does well with other dogs and children. He has not been cat-tested, but he seems laid-back enough that he would probably be fine.
