Summer Pit Bull Terrier Mix Lubbock, TX

Howdy! I'm Summer. Yes, I know, people tell me I'm a pittie mix. But please, I beg you, don't hold that against me! I am just the sweetest girl in the world! Now, don't get me wrong, I will bark and run up to my fence and carry on like a crazy woman, but it's all just for show. I just want to be sure you don't walk by me! You want to know the true secret to my affection? A leash! I am just perfect on a leash and I really love to go for walks, runs, or my personal favorite--Buffalo Springs Lake (although any park would do)! The other secret? Belly scratches! I love, love, love kiddos and I get along great with other dogs my size. I ride in the backseat just like a champ, although I sure wouldn't mind some front seat time as well. You never know, you may need a driving assistant! I've been at the Haven for almost 3 1/2 years, and yes, I get to see lots of people each day and get lots of treats and attention. But it's sure depressing each week when I see 5 or 10 dogs go to their forever homes and I'm not one of them. I would love a soft warm bed to call my own, and boy would it be neat if a family would give me that. I am already spayed, chipped, and fully vaccinated...and you get all of that for just $150!
