Marlie Dachshund & Beagle Mix Utterson, ON

Marlie is looking for her guardian angel. You see, Marlie entered rescue 6 months ago after being dumped by a local puppy mill. The trauma she experienced in those three years have left their scars on our poor Marlie and for that reason she is looking for a VERY special home.
 
Marlie is a 3yr old black and tan female doxie mix puppy mill survivor. She weighs around 20lbs. Marlie is lovely but her tragic past has made her very fearful of  everyone and everything. In new situations she cowers and hides and will nip if pushed too far, too soon. She is very uncomfortable with strangers approaching her or hovering overtop of her.
 
Marlie is happiest in the company of other dogs and therefore it is a must she be adopted into a home with another dog or dogs, big or small. She loves my big lab, and follows him everywhere. She would even do well in a home with cats.
 
Marlie is totally house broken which is so unlike puppy mill pups, As soon as she hits the grass she knows what to do. She is a quiet dog, and seldom barks. She walks great on leash. as long as there is nothing going on around her. 
 
Marlie is desperate for a forever home with someone who will accept her for her and commit to showing her that not all people are bad and the world isn't such a scary place.
