Nimmee - CGC, TDI Akita & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Albany, NY

Nimmee just turned 1 year old on 6/29. She was born with deformed front legs, but don't tell her that she is disabled - She has no idea. Nimmee gets along very well in the house without her cart. In fact she isn't in her cart during the day at all. It is only for walks and outings. Nimmee can not physically potty in the cart so she is taken out when she needs to do her business.



When out of her cart she can jump on and off of couchs and chairs. And she loves to play with other dogs. She can go up or down a few stairs but her ideal home wouldn't have alot of them to get in and out of the house. She weighs about 45lbs now and we estimate her to fill out to 55 to 60lbs. Oh, and she loves kitties! Nimmee has no idea that she is disabled as she does everything a normal dog does, just in a different way. She has her second cart now that will last her for the rest of her life.



Nimmee recently completed an obedience class and earned her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) designation. She is also practicing to take her Therapy dog test in July.
