From Arnold's foster mom:
"Arnold really is one of the best cats I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I have known a lot! Arnold was living on the streets in Baltimore when Homeward Trails rescued him. He has spent some time in and out of different fosters, and was even adopted once, and returned, not to his fault. Arnold needs to be an indoor outdoor cat. A safe outdoor environment is a must. He is a super cuddly guy, who will sleep on your lap, your chest, at your feet in bed, up by your head, and his motor purr will put you right to sleep.
Arnold has some very adorable characteristics. When he comes up to you he will flop over and go belly up, like a dog. :) He likes to use his paw to pull your hand towards him to pet him. He will follow you around like a little puppy. Arnold is just an absolute sweetheart.
Arnold can be a little territorial outside, but inside he gets along with all the other cats perfectly."  He would really prefer to be the only pet in the home. He currently lives with dogs, but he does not care for them at all. Arnold can be aloof during the warmer months, not wanting to come inside as often. During the colder and wetter months, there is no where he would rather be than on your lap or cuddling in bed. Arnold really needs a home with someone who will understand all his quirks and love him for who he is. He is a fantastic cat who deserves a forever home.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering.
