Jersey Boy is a very special guy who had a rough time of it on the streets before coming to Pets and People. If you look past the tiny scars on his sweet head and the extremely shy exterior, you'll find a very gentle soul with a big heart. He would make a great walking buddy as he's good on leash and wants to trot when he hits the open road. When you give him a treat, he'll take it very gently from your hands. I don't believe he'd ever been brushed as the first time we brushed him, he lay down, stretched out and released a big sigh.
If you think you could be the Special Someone Jersey Boy needs who can provide him with lots of patience and love, you'll have a dedicated friend for life.
Jersey Boy is currently learning to 'sit' on command. He does know 'come', and will 'shake hands' as well. He's also decided that belly rubs are the next best thing to Milk-Bones, but no kitties, please!
He has a short little three inch tail so papers won't go flying off the coffee table when he's happy!

Adoption fee for all dogs and puppies is $130.00 each, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (including all puppy boosters for puppies under 4 months), worming, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip and collar/leash/tags.

HELP!!! We need canned dog food for our puppies, seniors with few teeth, and our adult finicky dogs. They usually like Pedigree, but we will take anything!
