Meet Winnie (ADOPTED!!)

Winnie is an 11 month old Rat Terrier mix that was dumped on the side of the road in rural NC. She became friends with a mastiff mix puppy that was also abandoned on the side of the road. Winnie and her friend lived in the woods for a few weeks until they were finally rescued. Winnie has gained quite a bit since she was rescued and she is now looking healthy at approximately 25 lbs. She is great with other dogs and loves to play. Winnie is an active little girl who enjoys going running and hiking with her foster mom. She can definitely do anything that big dogs can, so if you're looking for an active companion, Winnie may be your girl.
