Meet Adopted! London

LONDON: This beautiful gal may seem a bit shy at first, but she’s very friendly once she gets to know you. Her short-haired fur is a rich shade of deep gray and her eyes are green. London likes to have her own private area she can feel safe in, so we have accommodated her with an open-cage policy. With her own cat litter, blanket, food-dish and bowl of water she is quite content to camp out where she can have quiet time. Her cage door is wide open, so she can come and go as she pleases. She gets along with other cats, but she also likes her personal space. You are more than welcome to drop by her little cubby and offer affection. A lot of petting and chin scratches are always welcome. Loud noises and people who move suddenly frighten her. We are hoping to find a quiet home for London with adults. For one reason or another, London prefers men. While a feather toy didn't impress her, playing "attack-the-moving-finger-under-the-blanket" is loads of fun! UPDATE: London is friends with Precious, another cat who likes her own personal space and has an open-cage arrangement. Because cage space is somewhat limited, London can't always have her own cage. She recently decided to bunk with Precious. They seem to have their own arrangement: London gets the top bunk and Precious get the bottom bunk. It would be really great if they could be adopted together since they become good friends. The third picture was taken of them in their cage together. Of course the door is always open so they can come and go as they please.
