Meet Buddy

Buddy is a dark orange tabby who is about 3 years old. Buddy was an indoor cat, abandoned by his owners and neighbors brought him to Cats Angels. He has been with us almost two years now, probably because Buddy has tested positive for feline aids.  People tend to shy away from cats like Buddy, but cats with feline aids do live long and healthy lives. They should be kept indoors - the safest place for all cats. Buddy recently had his yearly visit with the vet and he is a healthy 16 pound boy.  Buddy is a sweet, calm and gentle cat who responds with purrs when you sit with him, especially when brushing is involved!

Feline AIDS cats will need regular vet check ups and vaccinations just like any other cat. If you have questions about adopting a cat with feline aids, please contact your vet.

All cats are combo tested for feluk/fiv. All are spayed/neutered and given a rabies vaccination. All have received at least their first FVRCP booster. Fecal exams and deworming are also done when necessary.
