Meet Rupert
Look at those eyes! Rupert is a pro at flirting with those big eyes of his. This 2-year old dappled dachsund is just plain cute.
Although Rupert started life as a breeder dog, since he has been fostered at a vet's office he has learned to be a playful, loving little guy. He is house-trained, crate-trained and leash-trained.
Rupert is a little bit shy with people he doesn't know, but when he trusts you, he will jump on the couch for a little bit of loving. He gets along great with other dogs, cats, and loves children.
Rupert is ready for a patient and loving family who will enjoy his antics. True to his breed, Rupert will follow his nose, so Rupert's new home must have a fenced yard to keep him safe. If you think you might be the right family for Rupert, contact warmhearts@earthlink.net for an application. That is the first step in the adoption process. Rupert's adoption fee is $200.00.
Warm Hearts' animals are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications are reviewed, vet references are checked and an adoption interview is conducted to ensure that the pet is the right fit for the family. Adoption fees cover the expenses associated with vetting and care.
