Rocky has found his forever home with Leigh H. and her two previously adopted FHRNE doggies!





Rocky is a very special mixed breed dog who is 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. When he came into rescue he had a broken leg and it became infected. He had to have the leg amputated, but it doesn't stop him from being the fun loving, high energy boy that he is! He is crate trained and house trained. Rocky has normal curiosity around cats. He is great with other dogs. His foster mom absolutely loves him and here is what she has to say about him "he loves to be outdoors running, even with only 3 legs, you can’t tell it by watching him. He can run as fast if not faster than the others. He loves the water & jumps in every chance he gets. As tough of a boy as he is, he still likes to find his human at the end of the day & cuddle up for some lovin’ & rubbin’ before sleep!" This is a GREAT dog who will make a wonderful companion to a loving family. Adoption fee $300.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.




Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
