Meet Rosie
** TALK TO US ABOUT A POSSIBLE PERMANENT FOSTER SITUATION FOR ROSIE**
Rosie is beautiful young cat with the cheerful exuberance of Tigger from Winnie the Pooh and the lively confidence of a kitten. She was excited to make friends with a volunteer who came to meet her in her new-cat cage and she soaked up some attention eagerly! She lost her home because an illness in her family made them unable to provide proper care for her.
Rosie can act shy if she meets someone she doesn't know - but once she trusts you, she LOVES to play and to be brushed. Unfortunately, Rosie has experienced some trauma and is currently experiencing litter-box issues. She needs a calm, quiet home that will give her much patience and time to come back around to her 'rosey' little self.
Apparently, Rosie lived with dogs in her former home and was fine with them, but unless she was going to a home with exceptionally calm dogs, it probably would not offer the most calm for her to regain her equilibrium. She also lived with young children although she'd probably be best with adults and older children.
Her family said she "loves to snuggle" and likes "snuggling on you, sleeping right beside you." They said she's a playful cat who liked to chase flies and light beams, and she would fetch small objects. She's affectionate, playful and gentle. Rosie is a ray of sunshine who would brighten up a home and bring a smile to your face - she just needs a lot of patience and love so she can transcend her trauma. Rosie was born around the beginning of 2009.
