Roxie - Adopted!! Lhasa Apso & Shih Tzu Mix Sweet Home, OR

Meet Little Miss Roxie, a 6 year old lhasa apso/shih tzu mix, that just came back into rescue after a short adoption. The lady that adopted her has health issues and cannot walk her and has no fenced back yard. Prior to that she was in an adult care home for 4 years and was well trained to use a doggy door. Her crooked little grin is a result of a large dog attack at age 1 that left her lower jaw broken but that's all repaired now and she eats with no difficulty as a result of the injury. She does have some skin allergies and needs to stay on her limited ingredient food and have medicated shampoos Roxie also had a knee surgery (luxating patella) in May 2011 and healed nicely from that. Roxie weighs about 20 pounds. Because of the recent upheaval we would recommend a retired couple or adult or a family with only older kids. She's at a foster with many dogs of all sizes and ages, but is a little nervous with that many, so PAN would recommend that she goes to a place as an only spoiled princess or with a small number of dog companions. She's played well with the other small dogs at her first family and at the foster home, and has been boarded recently with cats too (if they are the kind that don't run). She loves to ride in the car and go for walks too! Roxie has been spayed, is up-to-date on all routine shots and her rabies shot is good through May 2016. She is also already micro-chipped. A fully fenced yard is recommended for any potential adopter, but we will consider each application on a case-by-case basis. Her adoption fee is $150. She's had a very rough start, then some consistency for the past few years, and now we're looking for that person that can give her the spoiled attention that this little survivor deserves?
