Katie English Pointer Mix Egg Harbor City, NJ

Our little 10 month old puppy Katie was rescued from such a bad situation. Her owners kept her outside all the time, where she had green water and dirty food. When the SPCA was called and they went to the home, they not only observed her horrible feeding conditions, but also how skinny Katie was, her loss of hair and her one eye oozing. Katie is only 36 lbs. and should be about 45-50lbs. Despite her terrible beginning, Katie is such a sweetie and gets along well with others . She fetches with a very gentle mouth and loves to please. Her house manners are being worked on and she needs help with pottie but is eager to learn.

Our Katie is in a warm, loving foster home being treated for mange and for her weight. She spent four days in the emergency vet clinic and her medical bill was extremely high. She also will be spayed when she is done her treatments and will be updated on all vaccines as well. We are asking for donations to help with her vet care. Because of kind people like yourself, we can continue to save homeless animals with severe medical conditions, where at a shelter, they would have been euthanized.
