Cooper is a handsome, 10 year old black and white, tuxedo cat, who really looks good with a bow tie! This charmer and lady's man is the epitome of an affectionate kitty. One thing that makes Cooper unique from other cats, is his love for power tools and heavy equipment. Cooper is a fearless kitty who's not afraid of anything, but he does have respect for the tools. When we had work done on at our shelter, the construction workers gave him the title of "Safety Inspector" a title he still proudly holds to this day.

Cooper would make a great mascot for a contracting company. All of the maintenance workers that are called to ARC really like him. Cooper wants to have a tool belt of his own and if you're a handy man or woman, that's in search of a companion, please come pick up your new best friend. Cooper has been patiently waiting along time mostly due to the fact that black and white kitties just aren't popular color choices, even though they have some of the best personalities around. Cooper is up for any challenges or projects you may have on your to do list. If you've already cleared off your list of chores, Cooper confided in me that he'd also be content to just sit around in "his" man cave watching TV or doing other cool things.
 
Cat Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
