Asia Beagle Mix Wadsworth, IL

It's time for my little foster girl to leave the nest. Asia has been a complete joy to have in my home. She still has all the silly puppy antics without consuming your furniture. Stealing slippers, playing keep away with
her stuffed toys, chewing on dog blankets and coming through the yard with her foster siblings are a few of her favorite things. Asia is extremely receptive to positive reinforcement training. She has already learned the sit and off command. House training is going very well, accidents that have occurred happened when I was not paying attention to her signals. Her kennel (crate) certainly is not her favorite place. She will whine some at bedtime and bark when you return from work. As Asia matures I can definitely see her with run of the house. She is also on the quiet side, for a beagle, and should do well in an apartment or condo with proper exercise.

Asia enjoys play time with other dogs, especially in the yard or dog park! She is a bit on the bossy side with 'her' toys and Nylabones though. I think
> she will be fine as an only dog and the center of your attention. When it's time to relax in the house Asia is always happy to curl up in your lap or next to you on the couch.
We went to a Pet Expo last week and she was a hit! Little Miss Social Butterfly! She was an excellent co-pilot on the ride home. She'll watch out the window for a minute and then curl up on her blanket for a nap. She's been exposed to children of all ages and done very well. Her biggest downfall is stealing toys! She doesn't comprehend the difference between hers and theirs.
