Our Mission
At Boggy’s Buddies, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and avian species in need. Our mission is to provide compassionate care, advocate for responsible pet ownership, and offer resources that empower pet owners to keep their beloved animals whenever possible. Through education, community outreach, and a network of loving foster homes, we strive to create a world where every pet has a safe, nurturing, and forever home.
Adoption Policy
All applicants must provide three references who we contact for screening. We also verify if the adopter rents or owns their home, and we check any potential pet policies in place with the landlord verbally. We require proof of the enclosure the animal will be in, as well as any supplies, to ensure that the adopter is prepared. We require a meet and greet with all animals. Adopters must wait 24 hours post-meet to take their animal home so that our foster and our adopter both ensure it is not a rash decision.
