Our Mission

Welcome!  Thank you for visiting us.  We are a group of volunteers rescuing Labrador Retrievers, Lab mixes, and occasionally other breeds from bad situations in the southeast Texas area.  We admit dogs from owners who can no longer care for them, shelters where they maybe euthanized, and from citizens who have found strays.  We then provide vet care, training if needed, and a foster home where they can receive the love and care they so richly deserve until a permanent loving family can be found for them.

We are fortunate to have some great volunteers in the Northeast and Northwest areas of the US and Canada and are able to accommodate adoptions to families in that area.

Adoption Policy

Because we utilize foster homes in our program as opposed to a shelter, we are limited on the amount of dogs we can admit.  Dogs admitted to our program are provided with vaccinations, spay/neuter, deworming/defleaing, heartworm test and treatment if necessary, and any other medical care we deem necessary.

Upon admittance into our program, dogs are placed into a foster home where they are assessed and then placed up for adoption.  Potential adopters are required to complete an application, provide vet references, allow a home visit (if feasible) by adoption coordinator, and sign an adoption contract.  Adoption fees vary depending on age and breed of the dog. We do not charge an application fee.
