Chateaux De Gatos Sanctuary
Our Mission
The Chateaux De Gatos Sanctuary is committed to improving the welfare of stray, abandoned, and feral cats and kittens on the island of Puerto Rico. We will provide food, shelter, spay/neutering, medical care and medicine as needed for stray, abandoned, and feral cats and kittens that are in our care. We will provide education for those who care for feral cat colonies, including trap, neuter, vaccinate and release program (TNVR) to prevent cat overpopulation and disease spread.
Adoption Policy
Our process is as follows:
1) Potential adopter fills out an adoption application on our website.
2) We contact the potential adopter to talk and go over the rules of adoption through our Sanctuary.
3) We have a Zoom or Facetime "home-visit"
4) Determinations are made based on the items above.
