Our Mission

The Adams County Dog and Kennel Department is a county run facility.  We operate according to the Ohio Revised Code.   We are rescue friendly and will work with approved groups to save our dogs.  We do have a local vet that will work with us as space allows and some transport assistance can be arranged. We are a small staff of two so please be patient and allow us time to return your call.  We cover a large county.   937-544-2431

We do NOT take in dogs for euthanization!

Adoption Policy

Puppies 3 months and under $35.00

Puppies and dogs 3 months and older, $35.00

Dogs and puppies are susceptable to illness especially while in a kennel environment.   It is highly recommended you take your newly adopted pet to a vet immediately after adoption for a health checkup.  The Adams County Dog and Kennel Deparment is NOT responsible for any dog that becomes sick or dies after adoption.  There are no refunds.
